How It Works

In the privacy of your home, 3 stool samples and 2 saliva samples are collected and then sent to the laboratory.

Results go directly to nutritionist Ann Louise Gittleman, PhD, CNS., after which you will receive a personalized letter of recommendations and test results which may include natural anti-parasite herbal formulas, nutritional supplements, diet, and lifestyle changes.

You can expect to receive your results 2 to 3 weeks after the lab receives your sample.

Suggested repeat testing is every two to three months.

The Expanded GI Panel required several samples. The instructions were easy to follow. The sampling containers were clearly labeled as to which container to use when and for what.

Confusing and complicated

Rating:

I really think the vials should just be labeled "First Day" and "Third Day." I mistakenly used the "A" vial on the first day -- I mean, that's logical, right? Why would I start with "B" and save "A" for day three? Then I had to wait for a replacement vial and start all over again.

Plus, there was A LOT to remember -- what NOT to eat and stopping all vitamins and enzymes for several days, etc. It was also a pretty messy/smelly process, collecting and saving stool. The whole test felt intensely complicated and stressful to me.

Customer Service Response: Thanks for your feedback Susan. The vials and detailed instructions are provided by the medical laboratory that does the testing and are designed to provide the most accurate results. Our Testing Coordinator was happy to assist you by sending replacement vials via overnight shipping at no extra charge to you so that you could keep on schedule with your collection process. While collecting a stool sample may not be the most pleasant process, it is a necessary part of an at-home GI test. We hope you will find your results helpful in determining the underlying causes of your health concerns.  All the best, UNI KEY Staff

I am so grateful for this test

Rating:

Before purchasing UNI KEY's Expanded GI Panel I had been going to doctors for years with symptoms of low energy, foggy thinking, bloating, and constipation. They did not have a clue how to help me or what was going on! I took the Expanded GI Panel and found out I have gluten sensitivity. I had no idea! Now I have adjusted my diet and feel so much better. The bloating cleared up quickly. By noon to 2 PM I used to be very bloated. I have more energy throughout the day and I think more clearly. I am taking the supplements suggested...With UNI KEY's Adrenal Formula I am finally feeling really good. I am so grateful this testing exists!

Super helpful

Rating:

I had pain in my lower abdomen for about 1 1/2 years. When I ate, within an hour I would bloat and have 'baby belly.' I'm 22 years old and in college. I took the Expanded GI panel and finally found out what was wrong. I feel so much better after taking the supplements that were suggested. The pain in my lower abdomen is gone and I don't bloat after meals anymore. The information on the test really helped me, especially finding out that I was gluten intolerant. I feel really encouraged with my progress.

I am very happy the Expanded GI Panel test was suggested to me, as I never would have known or even suspected that I would have any sensitivities to eggs! Wow, that's one for the record books for me. I will make sure I retest in a couple of months-- just to see the progress numbers.
