Rhonda F.

I did it.  Thirty pounds on the Fat Flush Plan!

I DID IT! 30 lbs on the Fat Flush Plan since January 2004! It is May 2004, the day before my 51st birthday. I am healthy, fit, looking great (I have collarbones!) and happy!

First, please note that I have not been able to stay on a diet since high school (30 years ago) Today, I can say, in size 10-Ann Taylor pants, (size 10, -I've never in my life been size 10!) "I did it." This is what happened.

When I decided to do Fat Flush Plan. I REALLY decided that moment "enough!" hits everyone differently and internally. For me, it was my fiftieth birthday. I weighed 180, was sluggish, unhappy and single. My birthday was coming (May 19th ) I couldn't decide what I wanted to do, drove everyone, including myself, crazy. This was unusual for me, because birthdays don't usually phase me.

I went to Paris. The trip was amazing, but the DECISION to go, changed my life. As soon as I said yes, my complaining and depression stopped. At a cafe in Paris, I made a list of all the complaints in my life, and put an action next to it. Then I threw it off the Eiffel Tower at midnight, along with all I wanted to get rid of (and a bunch of rose petals). One of the most profound moments of my life was watching those bits of paper and petals in the light of the Arc de Triumph, float down to the ground. I came home and proceeded to go down my list. You can imagine, losing weight was right up there.

The most important thing for me was to fit my life into the Fat Flush Plan, and NOT try to fit the Fat Flush Plan plan into my life. I stopped most of my activities (many), made sure I got home after work to prep and cook, plan for the week so I wouldn't sabotage myself and run out of food and grab the wrong things. You must understand, this from a person who ate ice cream for breakfast and chips for dinner. The Fat Flush Plan plan takes commitment. There's no way around that.

When I started in January, I will be honest, here - I was motivated too, by being more attractive to men. Little did I know that I would fall in love with myself! It sounds corny, I know, but I have a new respect for myself, a new assurance that I can TRUST myself, to keep the promises I make to myself. I DO have discipline, I CAN stare down a chocolate chip cookie and WIN! The change is even more internal, that out. My relationship with men has changed completely! I'm more confident, more fun.
