Tests for Iodine Deficiency and measures how well your tissues are absorbing Iodine using a urine sample. The Iodine Loading Test can also determine if bromides or fluoride are displacing valuable iodine in your body.

Knowing your true iodine levels can contribute to resolving thyroid imbalances, Graves' disease, stress and low adrenal gland function, polycystic ovary syndrome, fibrocystic breast disease, sleep apnea, cardiac arrhythmia, diabetes (both types) and hypertension.

In the privacy of your home, two urine sample vials are filled from a 24 hour urine collection, taken after ingesting a loading dose of Iodine (50 mg from Iodoral). The urine samples are sent to the laboratory. Results are sent to Ann Louise Gittleman's office, after which you will receive a copy of the results and a personalized letter of recommendations.

Suggested repeat testing is two to three months.

Kit Contains:
Instructions, submittal form, and collection containers.

Iodine loading test review  |  Oct 24, 2013

This test came very quickly in the mail, had good easy to follow instructions and was easy to use. The only thing that was a challenge was trying to pee into that big cup. But I would still recommend this test to others.
