Basic Undercounter Ceramic Filter

The CWR Basic Undercounter Ceramic Filter combines the extraordinary parasite removal capability of ceramic micro-filtration with advanced carbon and ion exchange technology. Pure water is provided by three stages of filtration including ceramic pre-filtration, an activated carbon block, and ion exchange media. The filter purifies your tap water for the removal of incoming dirt, rust, sediment, parasites, chlorine, and heavy metals.

3-Stage Ceramic Filtration Removes:
Parasites (99.99% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium), Bacteria (99.99% of E.coli, Vibrio cholerae, Shigella, Salmonella, Typhii, and Klebsiella terrigena), Dirt/Rust/Sediment (99% of particles greater than 1 micron), Chemicals (99.99% of Chlorine, Chloroform, Bromoform, and Bromodichloromethane), Heavy Metals (99.99% of Insoluble Iron, 98% of Lead, 95% of Mercury, Cadmium, Copper, Aluminum, and Chromium), and Turbidity (98% of cloudiness).

Replacement Filters:
Filters should be replaced every 6-12 months depending on water quality. When the flow rate starts to slow due to trapped particles, it's time to clean the filter. This extends the life of the filter and reduces cost and inconvenience in the long term.
