A combination of our popular Iodine Deficiency and Fluoride & Bromide Provocation Tests, this test allows you fully evaluate iodine levels in the body and the substances that may be contributing to its deficiency in the body.

Iodine: Knowing your true iodine levels can contribute to resolving thyroid imbalances, Graves' disease, stress and low adrenal gland function, polycystic ovary syndrome, fibrocystic breast disease, sleep apnea, cardiac arrhythmia, diabetes (both types) and hypertension.

Fluoride: Found in many public water supplies, high levels of fluoride in the body can lead to severe health problems including Arthritis, osteoporosis, ADHD, Hypothyroidism, dental problems, infertility, and low serotonin and melatonin levels.

Bromide: A hidden ingredient in many soft drinks, bromide is a carcinogen that removes iodine from the body's tissues. Excessive bromide in the body can cause symptoms that cover many medical specialties: psychiatry, neurology, gastroenterology, and dermatology.

In the privacy of your home, two sample vials are filled from a 24-hour urine collection, taken after ingesting a loading dose of iodine (50 mg from Iodoral). The urine sample vials are sent to the laboratory. Results are sent to Dr. Ann Louise Gittleman's office, after which you will receive a copy of the results and a personalized letter of recommendations.

Suggested repeat testing is two to three months. Contains: Instructions for sample collection and submittal form, cup to catch urine, two small specimen vials, a 3-liter collection container, and small box with a pre-paid FedEx mailing label.
