I have discovered a whole new group of foods that I can eat-- and they are delicious! Prior to reading the Gut Flush book I was in constant pain, and had succumbed to emotional eating which left me not only overweight, but lethargic and at the mercy of my constant cravings for unhealthy foods. This book helped me discover some food sensitivities that I didn't realize I had. By eliminating these foods I have discovered a new energy level, lost my cravings, and within the first two weeks I lost ten pounds! Around the second week in the program I saw a significant drop in my pain level, and have continued to see improvement in that area. On top of that I am sleeping through the night, and my skin looks and feels much healthier. The greatest part is that although this requires an elimination of some foods, I have discovered a whole new group of foods that I can eat-- and they are delicious! Grains like buckwheat, millet and quinoa are so good-- even my family enjoys them! I don't feel hungry because I can eat foods like nuts and avocados which are not only good for me, but satisfy my hunger! I am still learning what I can and can't handle-- but I am on a path that I can stay on for life-- and feel good doing it!
